Welcome to Bourton Rovers Football & Social Club

Football from the heart of the Cotswolds

A hub of activity, our club has been established for over 120 years and is the home of the world-renowned Football in the River a historical football match played on the late August Bank Holiday annually within the River Windrush.  Various celebrities have participated in this event which is regularly televised and attracts hundreds of visitors to the village helping to raise funds for the upkeep and prospects of all our teams.

Host to three senior teams, 1st Team - Helenic League West 1, 2nds & 3rds in the Witney District Leagues.

Your local social club offering a variety of activities such Quiz Nights, Darts, Aunt Sally, Bingo and much more.

Throughout the year BRFC & Social Club host a variety of events for all ages. From small sided football competitions to discos.

The future is bright for Bourton Rovers Football Club

Having achieved an excellent standard over the past 4/5 years the club is going from strength to strength, our next “goal” is to improve the ground to provide a full enclosed arena with spectator stands and a full floodlit pitch.

This will enable our teams to advance to higher levels within the football leagues and provide the ability to undertake mid-week matches in the evening.

For more information please contact the Club Committee at the address and contact numbers below.

Partnership together to build a better club

We are very fortunate to have local sponsors from a wide range of businesses around the village, this sponsorship enables the club to enhance the playing facility and the needs of all players from the Senior to the Youth teams. All sponsors are advertised on our many social media sites which often gain +1000s of hits and likes, we also provide advertisement boards around the playing field.
